*This is a museum quality piece

Here is another extraordinarily iconic sculpture by Ashevak. In this piece, the artist has synthesized the salient aspects of the hunter. The composition is not only charged with meaning but it is aesthetically pleasing as well. The hunter's face is beautifully framed by the brilliantly, electrically and softly undulating plane of jet black marble stone.

The outline is sophisticatedly exquisite as well. As always, Mathewsie Ashevak's sculpture is serene and understated. As with all truly great sculptures, form and meaning become one.

When you look at this sculpture, you know right away that a master carver created it. It is incredibly refined and detailed. Every curve is polished to perfection.
