Shaa's athletic Diving bear has an eclectic look.

This is NOT the roly poly Teddy Bear of your childhood.

The neck is exaggerated and thick. The face tapers into a slightly protuberant nose.

Our bear is balancing all of his weight on one front paw!  It is muscular and thick but look at the back legs,  They seem short and stubby!

I admire carvers who depart from the classic realistic bear carving.

Isacci has given us a piece that we can contemplate.

I love this piece.  It could be called modern and quirky.

This is a carving that will garner attention and admiration.
