Peaceful, majestic resting caribou lovingly depicted by Kananginak Pootoogook RCA (1935-2010)
Pootoogook was both a sculptor and a printmaker.
His prints have a warmth and intensity that surely reflect his love for all Arctic creatures.
He worked with James Houston and was a leader in setting up the West Baffin Eskimo Cooperative (WBEC).
