Provenance: December 2020. We have waited over a year for Bobby to carve this incredible Hunter.

Master carver Bobby Anavilok has crafted this gorgeous rendition of a hunter with poise and originality. I have never had such an unusual carving from Bobby. This brave comrade draws back his harpoon, waiting for the exact moment to strike his prey. The proportions of the body is perfect. The arm muscles are taut and lean. I love the crisp lines of the  but it is his eyes that hunter impart strength and intensity to the piece.

The light grey stone is mesmerizing.

Bobby lives in the remote northern community of Kugluktuk, Nunavut. There are very few carvers in this small community. We are so lucky to be able to offer our clients this very special Merman carving.
