This is a spectacularly and beautifully finished light green and yellow polar bear by Isaaci Petaulassie.
What captured my attention to this piece was the sheer brilliance of the stone's colour and its stunning reflective finish. Polished to a mirror shine, this bear has an electrifying stature that will illuminate the entire room when put under a spotlight.
The proportions, facial features and lines are all carved exquisitely. This piece is no doubt a prime example of a what a perfect walking bear should look like.
