Magnificent Movement!
Like so many of Pootoogook’s small dancing subjects, this jolly bear appears to be enjoying himself immensely.
This bear is full of energy and joy!
I am particularly drawn to his exaggerated black claws on his oversized paws and feet and his strong snout.
The gold flecks in the dark stone is so appealing. It gives *Merriment* personality which he already possesses in spades.
Mosesee has demonstrated his talent for portraying grace and beautiful movement in his all his dancing bears.
This sculpture is the perfect entry-level carving for someone who is beginning an Inuit carving collection.
And this is also the perfect gift to brighten someone's day!
