This glorious dancing bear is Allan Sheutiapik at his best.
If you love the razzle dazzle of these vibrant green stones then you will be thrilled to have another Sheutiapik bear to choose for your collection.
I don't think you could ever tire of Allan's bears.
This particular dancing bear is bent backward and shifted to one side just a bit more than the average dancing bear. This is Allan showing off a bit. It takes years of experience, and a skillful artist to balance a carving on one foot.
I love how Sheutiapik has carved our bear's front paws and positioned them as if the tips of the claws might actually meet.
For me, these paws suggest human hands. Hands that are capable of great dexterity when compared to a bear's paws.
