Nudge is watching her cubs play on the ice, their Arctic playpen.
She keeps a close eye on their surroundings, listening for any sound that signals danger to her family.
It's time to go.
Nudge appreciates her brief rest but now she ambles over to her cubs to nudge them toward home.
Her massive size and powerful body is impressive and fortunately also intimidating to any predator who has the audacity to think a small bear cub would be a nice lunch.
Nudge's stone colour is dramatic and beautiful.
Allan has a keen eye for beauty and for his Bear subjects.
He has honoured them with this majestic sculpture.
